Consistent with the current donor strategy of “localization”, AGRI-BILCHA Plc is a key partner to RTI in implementing the ongoing Ethiopian Transforming Agriculture, a USAID funded five-year project. We have also seconded one of our key personnel to RTI through a local consulting firm to serve as the senior advisor for partnership and policy development to advance nutrition security and climate smart agriculture through public-private-partnership approach.
Given our in-depth knowledge of the Ethiopian economy and the agriculture sector in particular, we have partnered with BST Solutions to conduct a productivity assessment of agriculture one stop shops in the country for ATI. We also have formed a joint venture understanding with BST Solutions to conduct an impact evaluation of the social accountability program, Phase 3 for the World Bank. We have entered into partnership with other consulting firms and donor programs to implement projects centred on rehabilitation of local food and market systems, improved food security and enhanced resilience.
